We are Captain Juan Pablo (JP) and Captain David. We are originally from Venezuela and Argentina and have been living in Miami for more than 20 years. We met through our passion for sailing and have created Salty Miami Sailing Charters and ecotours to share the amazing experience of wind travel with others.

We have been sailing Biscayne Bay for more than a decade and have been lucky to explore many of its wonders over the years. From snorkeling spots to sandbars, we are passionate about sharing Miami’s hidden gems with our guests.

Focused on environmental stewardship, wildlife conservation, and environmental awareness. David & JP founded Salty Miami sailing tours and charters to give people the opportunity to experience Biscayne Bay wildlife up close.

This tour is operated and promoted by the Florida Ocean Clean-up Society known as F.O.C.U.S. Miami. Our mission is to educate, clean up the bay, and promote eco-tourism in Miami.
